Lt. Mark Rehberg
 Mark Rehberg, Lieutenant

Lieutenant Rehberg serves as the Operations Commander and has responsibility for the Uniform Patrol Division, Training and Detention Facility Administration.

Lt. Rehberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma and is working towards his Master of Arts in Justice Administration and Public Service from Saint Elizabeth University.   He is also a 2016 Graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.  Joining the department in 1999, he has prior assignments in patrol, as a narcotics detective and as the Sniper Team Leader with the Suburban Emergency Response Team (SERT).

 Damon Herzog, Sergeant

Sgt. Herzog serves as the Criminal Investigations Division Commander and has the responsibility for the Detective Bureau, Intelligence, and Internal Affairs.

Sgt Herzog holds a Masters of Public Administration from Drake University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Grandview University.  He is a 2010 Graduate of the 242nd FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.  Joining the department in 1997, he has prior assignments in patrol, narcotics detective, and as the Suburban Emergency Response Team (SERT) commander.












Sgt. Dan Anderson - Copy
 
 Dan Anderson, Sergeant
Sgt. Anderson is currently assigned to the Second Watch Patrol as the Patrol Commander.

Sgt. Anderson holds an Associate's Degree in accounting from Iowa Western Community College.  Joining the department in 1997, he has had prior assignments in patrol, as a fraud detective and as a Defensive Tactics instructor.
 
       












Sgt. David Liska
 David Liska, Sergeant
Sgt. Liska is currently assigned to the First Watch Patrol as the Patrol Commander.

Sgt. Liska began his career with the Clive Police Department in the spring of 1994, after marrying and moving to Des Moines from the Chicagoland area.  After a few years Sgt. Liska left to pursue opportunities elsewhere, but returned to the Clive Police Department in July of 2008.  Sgt. Liska has worked patrol, investigations, and is currently a negotiator with the Suburban Emergency Response Team.  Sgt. Liska is presently assigned as the day shift supervisor.  He is married and has four daughters. 













 



Sgt. Adam Johnston
 
 Adam Johnston, Sergeant
Sgt. Johnston graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Studies.  He joined the department in 2014 and has prior assignments in patrol and as a narcotics detective.  Sgt Johnston is currently assigned as the overnight shift supervisor.
