Emerald Ash Borer

EAB has been positively identified in Iowa. EAB kills all ash tree species and is considered to be one of the most destructive tree pests in North America. While no one can accurately predict when the insect will arrive in Clive, it has been detected in several counties in Iowa. The City, working in conjunction with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and other regulatory agencies, will address efforts and further develop this EAB plan as additional information becomes available.
