When do I need to register?
Typically, online registration closes 3-4 weeks before the league start date, but this varies by sport. Some sports require more intense schedule work, therefore the registration deadline is further in advance of that leagues start date.

How do I register for leagues or tournaments?
A strong majority of City of Clive leagues & tournaments are registered for on a team basis, not an individual player basis. All team registration is done via our online registration module.
After you have registered online, the "go-to" site going forward for all things schedules, rules, tournament brackets, etc. will be our Clive Sports site (www.clivesports.com).
Can I, or my child, register for a team sport individually?
The vast majority of City of Clive leagues & tournaments are registered for on a team basis, not an individual player basis.
We do, though, have a function on our clivesports.com web site that allows you to complete an Individual Player Form (online submittal). We can then capture the necessary & pertinent information and when a team reaches out to us looking to add an extra player or two, we can put you and the team captain into contact.
When registering for the league, the materials say I need to complete a Team Roster Form. What is that and how do I complete it?
A Team Roster Form is a not only a liability waiver document, but it also serves as your official team roster.
For our adult sports leagues, the Team Roster Form is required before your first game. League rules may also dictate the maximum number of players allowed per team, and in some cases when/if those players are tournament eligible.
For our youth basketball league, the Team Roster Form is required to be completed & signed by a player's guardian/parent; this document then serves as your official team roster and your team's liability waiver. A player/player's parent who has not completed the Team Roster Form is ineligible for and league or tournament play. Note: We recommend the Team Roster Form document be completed at the beginning or end of a practice and submitted as one document for all team members, as opposed to submitting on an individual player basis.
Can I donate to the league or for improvements to be made at Campbell Recreation Area?
Yes, absolutely! Many different avenues exist to support Campbell Park and Clive Parks & Recreation!
Campbell Park serves as the hub of activity for Clive. Adult and youth sports teams enjoy the three lighted softball fields, two lighted sand volleyball courts, basketball court, and tennis courts. Area cyclists and striders enjoy the beautiful Greenbelt Trail. Families and young children enjoy the two playgrounds and open air shelter.
