Clive Aquatic Center is currently not taking reservations at this time as all offerings are currently booked for the 2021 Summer Season.
2022 Summer Pool Rental Reservations will plan to open up during March 2022.
Details on rentals plan to be released shortly after the New Year.
Where can I see when the pool(s) are available to rent?
You can click rentals to see what is available. Once you find "Clive Aquatic Center All Pools," from the list and click on it, a drop down will happen. If you wish to rent all pools at a certain time, you wont need to select any of the items in the drop down menu. If you are looking at the Lap Pool only, or Lap Pool with a second pool option, then select "Lap Pool (w/ option 2nd pool)". If you wish to just reserve the Leisure Pool, then you would select "Leisure Pool Only".
Please note how rentals are color coded:
Green: All pools are available to rent
Yellow: Section(s) of the pool are already reserved but still available to rent the section not reserved.
Gray or Red: No availability exists, already reserved, and/or too far in advance
When I go to reserve, do I have to pay up front or can I pay at the rental?
Payment must be made up front at the time of reservation. Reservations are confirmed when the fee is received. Payment can be made online using VISA, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards. If you are wishing to pay with cash or check, please contact the Clive Parks and Recreation offices during business hours Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. to make arrangements.
What if I reserved, but would like to make changes or cancel?
Cancellations or revisions to reservations by the renter must be made a minimum of 11 business days in advance of the rental date and will carry a fee of $25 for any date change.
If canceling within the 10 business days, no refund will be given. Date changes within the 10 business days cannot be made.
Can I bring food and drink to the rental?
Yes, you can bring food and drink into the facility as long as there are no glass containers. All food items must be kept in the concession area and the renter is responsible for clean up.
Can I bring alcohol and tobacco products (including electronic smoking devices) to the rental?
Absolutely no alcohol and tobacco products can be brought into the aquatic center. Any person suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance will not be permitted and law enforcement personnel will be summoned.
What if I have a rental scheduled and it is projected to storm that day?
In case of poor weather conditions on the day of the party:
Clive aquatic management will determine cancellation due to inclement weather based on facility policy. The decision will be made no sooner than 90 minutes before the scheduled time of the party. If management cancels the party, the party may be rescheduled at no additional fee. If the renter decides not to reschedule the party, or there are no other offerings available, the rental fee is refunded in full.
In the case of a storm or severe weather during the party:
- If the weather would force the party to end prior to the scheduled end time, and it is within the first hour of the party, the party may be rescheduled at no additional fee.
- If the weather would force the party to end prior to the scheduled end time after the first hour, the party will not be rescheduled and the fee will not be refunded.
