Aquatic Trainings

Working with the American Red Cross, Lifeguarding (LG) and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) courses are available year round from trained professionals who can help participants gain the skills and confidence necessary for providing world-class safety and instruction in aquatic settings.

Once students are enrolled, they’ll receive the latest science-based training from experienced instructors.  Participants will also develop skills they’ll use for a lifetime.

Participants must be at least 15 years of age to enroll in Lifeguarding classes.
Participants must be at least 16 years of age to enroll in Water Safety Instructor classes.

Pre-course water skills testing is required at each offering including continuous 300-yard swim and weight retrieval from the deep end of a pool.
