Water Areobics Classes

Water Aerobics is back for the 2021 Summer Season!

Reduce stress on joints and use the water’s natural resistance by exercise in the pool! These low impact classes aid recovery from injuries, burns calories, and enhances one’s balance, coordination, and mood. Water also provides almost 12 times the resistance of air to provide an overall safe and healthy muscle tone. Programs are cancelled during inclement weather no later than 45 minutes prior to class and announced through the aquatic center hotline at (515) 440-0599.  For more information, contact Brian Longren at blongren@cityofclive.com

Water Exercise is now available per session.  Each sessions are twice a week for 4 weeks.  Registration is required prior to attending.
Monday/Wednesday, June 7 - 30
Tuesday/Thursday, June 8 - July 1
Monday/Wednesday, July 12 - August 4
Tuesday/Thursday, July 13 - August 5

Program Cost: $30 per session

Max Capacity for Water Exercise class: 10 participants to help maintain social distancing within the designated space.  Class could be held in either the Leisure Pool or Lap pool depending on workout type.  Aquatic staff will be available to help direct swimmers when they enter.

Any cancellations to this program, due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, will be made no later than 45 minutes prior to the start of the program.  Cancellation information can be found by calling 515-440-0599 and on our Facebook Page.
