City Extends Emergency Proclamation to Manage Spread of COVID-19 through June 25

Clive Mayor Scott Cirksena has amended the City's COVID-19 emergency proclamation.  This is in response to Iowa Governor Kim Reynold’s extension of public health directives.

Clive playgrounds, trails, park shelters, drinking fountains, and park bathrooms are now all open.  City Hall, the Dymond Public Safety Facility, Clive Public Works Building, and the Clive Library will continue to be closed to the public through at least June 25.  The Library is providing curbside service.

In accordance with direction from the Governor, recreation leagues and team sports will resume June 15 with special public health measures in place.

The proclamation allows the City to amend this timeline and take additional steps to protect public health, maximize the safety of City staff, and maintain essential City services to the community.

A copy of the amended proclamation is available on the City's COVID-19 page here.
