Playground Equipment in Clive Parks Closed

Effective March 30, 2020, all playground equipment in Clive parks is closed to help prevent the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus.  Open spaces in the parks and trails—including the Clive Greenbelt Trail—remain open to the public.

Courts and fields including tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts remain open at this time but team sports, pickup games, and contact play are prohibited.

Restrooms and drinking fountains remain closed.

The City will place signs near closed playground equipment but will not install caution tape or fencing.  Residents and visitors are asked to do their part to keep family, friends, neighbors, and the community safe.  The City’s priority is protecting the health and safety of all Clive residents while continuing to serve the public.

While visiting Clive parks use good judgment and act responsibly; bring your own sanitation supplies with you, keep social gatherings to less than 10 people, and follow best social distancing practices. If you do not feel well or have been sick, stay home.
