Spark: a writers group
Spark meets one Saturday a month. Writers submit draft pages (fiction, essay, poetry, short story, children's stories, etc.) for feedback to be given during the meeting. Individuals have 10-15 minutes to read their work out loud and/or to talk about their work. Our purpose is to meet, share, converse, and give feedback to the best extent explicitly requested in the time allotted. Drop-ins welcome. We are currently meeting virtually. Contact Julia for more information and to participate.
No registration required.
New! We have created a book club to support our writing group. We come together to inspire and encourage each other as we each pursue our individual paths together as writers. Our focus in this group will be on reading nonfiction to sharpen and to develop our writing skills and talent. This quarter's read (October – December) is Wired for Story by Lisa Cron. Contact email@example.com for information on joining the Goodreads discussion.
