COVID-19 Reopening

As of Tuesday, June 1st, the library will be open full hours to the public.  Please be aware that there are some things that will look different to you than when we closed in March 2020.

 Opening guidelines
*As of August 9th the City of Clive will be utilizing the CDC's data tracker for Polk County to determine what level of mask requirements in City facilities we will have: Red (High Transmission) Masks are required for all staff and public above the age of 2 years. Masks must cover both mouth and nose and be worn at all times while you are in the library.  Orange (Substantial Transmission) Masks are required for unvaccinated staff and public indoors. 
*Curbside pickup will be maintained for those more comfortable remaining outside the library.
*Technology computers will be available on a first come first served basis for 2 hours per day.
*The study rooms will be available for 2 hour reservation per day.
*The meeting rooms will not be available at this time.
*Programming will be held virtually & in person- please check the calendar ahead of time for the correct place of the program you registered for.
*Please practice social distancing while in the library.

*All reasonable measures will be taken to maintain a clean facility for your safety and the safety of our staff.
