CITY OF CLIVE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Clive will receive sealed bids for the NW 86th Street Corridor Streetscape Improvements Phase II. The work will be bid in bid packages including, but not necessarily limited to: Water Main Replacement and new Paving; Misc. Utility Work; Misc. Electrical work consisting of Street Lighting, Accent Lighting; Misc. Site work including Monument Sign and signage; Misc. Masonry consisting of Stone Veneer Walls, Piers; Concrete- Foundations, Sidewalks, Paver Subbase; Unit Pavers; Landscaping, including Trees, Plantings, Sod and Irrigation, Site Furnishings.
The City of Clive will receive sealed Bids before 2:00 PM on the 9th day of March, 2010 in the office of the City Clerk, Clive City Hall, 1900 NW 114th St., Clive, Iowa 50325-7077. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened in the Council Chambers of City Hall. All interested parties are invited to attend. The City of Clive reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
A Pre-bid will be held in the Council Chambers, Clive City Hall, 1900 NW 114th Street, Clive, Iowa 50325-7077 on Monday, March 1, 2010, at 2:00 PM.
The City Council of the City of Clive will consider bids at the regular Council Meeting at 7:00 PM on the 18th day of March, 2010 in the Council Chambers at Clive City Hall, 1900 NW 114th Street, Clive, Iowa 50325-7077.

Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check of a sum not less than 10 percent of the Base Price/Sum. The bid shall contain no condition except as provided in the specifications.
Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission.
Bidders shall give preference to the use of Iowa domestic labor and products and provisions produced or grown within the State of Iowa.
