Bridge Repairs NW 86th St. - Possible Delays

Beginning Wednesday, July 25, 2012, construction crews will begin deck repairs on the bridge over Walnut Creek north of University Avenue on NW 86th Street in the City of Clive.  One half of the deck will be repaired at a time during two separate phases of construction.  During the first phase, northbound and southbound traffic will be shifted head to head in the existing southbound lanes while the east half of the bridge is repaired.  This phase of construction is expected to last approximately five weeks dependent on weather.

Traffic in and around the affected area is encouraged to exercise caution and/or seek alternate routes as delays may occur.  Please contact Clive Community Development at 223-6221 with questions, concerns or the need for additional information.
