New Fire Engine

The City of Clive took delivery of a new fire engine in June.
One of the many pieces to delivering an effective response to emergency needs in our community is great equipment. When you call 911, you expect great people and equipment to arrive and handle your emergency. Fire engines are purchase with an expected life span of fifteen years. This engine was purchased from Feld Fire Equipment (Carroll, Iowa) and was built by E-One, Inc. (Ocala, Florida).
This new fire engine is equipped to respond to a variety of situations, including: fires, motor vehicle accidents, vehicle extrications, advanced life support first response, and other special rescue events.
A committee of ten Fire Department personnel participated in the research, planning and design of this apparatus.
