Clive City Facilities Closed to the Public Due to Increasing Coronavirus Infections in Polk and Dallas County

Clive City Hall, the Clive Public Library, Dymond Public Safety Facility, and Clive Public Works Building are currently closed to the public due to increasing coronavirus infections in Polk and Dallas County.

As at earlier points in the pandemic, City staff will continue to safely work and provide services by phone, online, and through limited in-person appointments.

Park shelters, the Special Events Building, trails, courts, fields, and recreation programs remain open.  The Clive Aquatic Center remains closed for open swimming, but limited lap swimming and small group swim lessons will continue through mid-August.   All visitors to Clive parks and other outdoor facilities are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings and observe social distancing best practices.

In addition to online services, the Clive Public Library will continue providing curbside material drop off and pick up.  For additional information on library hours and services visit https://www.cityofclive.com/library/

Most Clive municipal facilities were closed to the public from mid-March through June 28 to help protect staff and visitors during the ongoing public health emergency.  Facilities were reopened on June 29 with significant social distancing and sanitation measures in place including mandatory face coverings for staff and visitors.
