May 17 Storm Update - Clive Will Not Have Special Storm Debris Pick-Up for May 17 Weather Event.  Property owners will be responsible for clean up on any storm damage or utilize the City's yard waste programs.

 Trail Tunnel Closure:  Attention Eason Elementary Families and Greenbelt Trail Users, due to the Greenbelt Trail Tunnel closure under NW 156th Street, Clive and Waukee Police officers will be assisting street crossing, weekdays before and after school hours until the trail/tunnel is reopen.

WaterTowerThe City of Clive receives water from Des Moines Water Works. Des Moines Water Works (DMWW) is responsible for the initial treatment to insure the best quality before distributing it to the city as a wholesale customer. As it reaches our connection, the Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the high quality of water until it flows out of your faucet.

The Water Distribution Division of the Public Works Department is charged with operating and maintaining more than 102 miles of water mains, 1552 valves, 1162 fire hydrants, 7240 water meters, two elevated water storage facilities, one water booster station, and a fixed base automatic meter reading system. Additionally, Clive is a member of the Central Iowa Regional Drinking Water Commission.
