Register
Registration will be available on-line and in person at the Library. Please note: Phone registrations can no longer be taken.
1. Click on the title of the program you wish to register for.
On the right-hand side of the screen a description and other information about the program will appear.
2. Below the program information area click on the icon 
.
3. Login into your Library Account.
Last name
Entire library card barcode number
4. Select the number of seats.
5. In the Registration Note please list the name and age of each child that will be attending the program.
(Please note: When registering for the Hot Dog Dinner program list every adult and child that will be attending)
6. Click OK.
For Children
Please note these sessions last 8 weeks and require pre-registration for each session. You may call the library or check the calendar for sign up dates.
Baby Lap Time
Enjoy this 15-minute program for children 0-18 months of age with an adult. This is bonding time for the adult and child and models beginning literacy skills with the use of nursery rhymes, music, and interactive play.
Toddler Time
Pre-register for this program of 20 fun-filled minutes of songs, finger plays, flannel board stories and other favorite stories for the toddler (3 and younger) and an adult.
Story Time
Preschoolers (3 and older) are invited to this 30-minute program of book-related fun. Program highlights include read-a-louds, puppets, flannel board stories, songs and much, much more. Parents are invited to enjoy free coffee or tea while their children are in the program.
Bookin' with Judy
Judy invites 6-10 year to share in book discussions, reading, and crafts. Books to be read and discussed will be distributed the first program of each session. For information regarding the current book club selection, please check the calendar or call the library at 515-453-2221.
Thursday Night Fun at the Library
Families with children of all ages will enjoy these Thursday evenings of reading fun, songs, games, and special activities.
For Teens
Teen Book Club-Reed and Feed
Come and join this book club at the Clive Public Library. We’ll share excellent books, great discussions and provide snacks! We will meet on the second Monday of each month from 4:15 – 4:45 p.m. Some copies of each selection will be available for checkout at the Library the month before.
For Adults
Clive Book Club
The Clive Book Club invites adults to join this interesting and stimulating reading discussion group. The club meets in the Community Room at the Clive Public Library at 7 p.m. on the last Tuesday of every month. Informative discussions are held on the chosen novel with impressions and opinions shared by all. Anyone interested may attend all or any of the monthly discussions; there is no cost to participate. Some copies of most selections are available for checkout at the library. For information regarding the current book club selection please check the calendar or call the library. Pre-registration is not required.
