EMS Division Apparatus

Utility 322

  • 2000 GMC 1 ton crew cab 4x4.
  • 6 compartment "job" box for compartment space.
  • Eagle brand lift gate capable of lifting 1,000 lb.
  • Utility 322 is used as a support vehicle for FIre and EMS calls and is the first responder unit when the Squads are out of service.
  • EMS equipped to the first responder - defibrillator level.
  • Utility 4 is also used to pull the foam trailer and MCI trailers and is a back-up command vehicle.

Squad 323

  • 1998 MedTec Type III Ambulance mounted on Ford E-450 Super Duty chassis.
  • Secondary Advanced Life Support ambulance to all medical emergencies as well as fire calls in the City of Clive from 6 A.M to 6 P.M. and primary to all areas from 104th street west between 6 P.M. and 6 A.M.
  • This unit can handle two patients at a time.
  • Carries various life saving equipment, medications and supplies.
  • Zoll "M Series" cardiac monitor/defibrillator/pacemaker w/ 12 lead EKG.
  • 800 MHz and VHF mobile radios.

 

Squad 324

Fire Department Appartus - Squad 324

  • 1998 MedTec Type III Ambulance mounted on Ford E-450 Super Duty chassis.
  • Primary Advance Life Support ambulance to medical emergencies as well as fire calls in the entire City of Clive from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. and east of 104th St. 6 P.M. to 6 A.M.
  • This unit can handle two patients at a time.
  • Carries various life saving equipment, medications and supplies.
  • Zoll "1600 Series" cardiac monitor/defibrillator/pacemaker. Includes add-on 12 lead EKG.
  • 800 MHz and VHF mobile radios.

 

Medic 327

  • 2001 Dodge Durango four wheel drive Paramedic Response Vehicle.
  • Staffed 24 hrs. day with a Certified Paramedic Specialist, this vehicle responds to medical emergencies as well as fire calls in the cities of Clive and Windsor Heights. Equipped with:
  • Zoll "M Series" cardiac monitor/defibrillator/pacemaker w/ 12 lead EKG.
  • 800 MHz and VHF mobile radios.
  • Minor forcible entry tools, fire tools and appliances, and rescue equipment.

 

Medic 2 Car

Fire Department Appartus - Medic 2 Car

  • 1996 Jeep Cherokee.
  • First in service as the Medic 327 and then later as Car 329.
  • Now in use as the vehicle to get the second "squad" medic to the scene.
