Department Information

The Community Development Department provides professional services related to planning and zoning, building construction, engineering and information technology. The Department's mission is:

"to ensure the quality creation and preservation of the built environment

based on the public's diverse interests and the community's shared vision"

In support of the mission statement, the department has adopted the following core values:

Organization

In order to efficiently deliver theses services, the department is divided into three divisions:

Planning Services, Construction Services and Engineering Services.
