Commercial Building Permits

New commercial and addition projects must go through the development process and be approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council.

In addition to the documents outlined below, tenant finishes and remodels must have on file a Zoning Compliance Form to ensure the proposed use complies with the zoning of the property.

Building permit applications for commercial construction must include the following:

1. Application for Building Permit
2. Builder's Acknowledgement
3. Two sets of construction drawings - These plans will become part of the property file and will not be returned. 
4. Construction drawings on disk or via e-mail (.pdf and/or .tif format).
