Certificate of Occupancy

A Certificate of Occupancy is required for all new construction and remodels of commercial and residential occupancies.  A Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued unless the new construction, electrical, plumbing or mechanical systems are in compliance with the rules and regulations set forth in the City's Building Code and the project has been through a final inspection.

A Temporary Certificate of Occupancy may be issued if certain requirements are met.  An Agreement to Complete and performance bond or cashier's check may be required prior to issuance of a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy.
