All application forms are also available in the office of the City Clerk. Please complete the form, accompanied by the appropriate payment, and return to Clive City Hall, 1900 NW 114th Street, Clive, IA 50325. Should you have questions, please contact the City Clerk, at 515-223-6220.
Licenses
Dog/Cat Licenses and Tie up
Dogs and cats four months of age or older in Clive must have a pet license. Annual pet licenses may be obtained at City Hall upon presentation of a current rabies certificate.
Pet license fees are:
$10.00 each - unspayed or unneutered dog or cat
$5.00 each - spayed or neutered dog or cat
Documentation from a veterinerian the animal has been spayed or neutered must be presented in order to license your pet at the discounted rate. Licenses are issued without penalty from January 1 - April 30. A penalty of $1.00 per month applies to pet licenses issued after April 30, each year. It is unlawful to allow dogs or cats to run at large within the corporate limits of the city. Any animal at large may be impounded and the owner fined.
