Organizations planning to conduct a special event, are required to conduct the event in accordance with the general guidelines and requirements adopted by the City. The guidelines apply to special outdoor events that may include one or more of the following: a tent, liquor being served, or amplified music. Receiving approval from the City of Clive does not preclude responsibility for any additional permits, approvals, or state and federal regulations. The City reserves the right to impose special guidelines and restrictions based on the nature of the proposed event and its attendance circumstances.
Application packets are available at the City Clerk’s office, 1900 NW 114th St. Completed applications must also be submitted to the City Clerk’s office.
