Organizations planning to conduct a special event on public property, are required to conduct the event in accordance with the general guidelines and requirements as established in city ordinance. The guidelines apply to special outdoor events that would be held on publicly owned property. Receiving approval from the City of Clive does not preclude responsibility for any additional permits, approvals or state and federal regulations. The City reserves the right to impose special guidelines and restrictions based on the nature of the proposed event and its attendance circumstances.
